In 1979 Robin purchased her first show dog, a beautiful red Doberman bitch by the name of Roslyn. Shortly after her breeder was killed in a car accident. Her new mentor came from a retired breeder/judge. Along with a local vet the men taught her everything from proper breeding to tube feeding. In the mean time she was owner handling, almost unheard of in the Doberman ring.  While showing her Dobe Robin fell in love with the Briard. She decided that she would have one and placed a deposit on a puppy from the bitch she saw weekend after weekend.
Jen followed in her Mom's footsteps, learning to show before she was even old enough to enter junior handling. Robin entered Jen & Roslyn in a local show in the regular classes as she was to young for juniors. They placed 3rd in the very heavy competitor of the working group.
Since those days Jen has made Briards her primary breed,  Robin has remained a large mentoring roll in the breeding program. Robin made her mark with Mastiffs , Briards, Dobermans and has now found a new love with Wire Haired Doxies. Mastiffs and Dobes can be very needy Mothers sometimes not taking care of their puppies at all so Robin has decided to limit her breeding of Mastiffs.
In 2005 they took a break from dog shows & breeding and relocated from Harrisburg, PA to Forest City, NC. We now share a large property on 22 acres. Jen and her 2 children are always busy. Robin & Harold along with Grama have many exciting animals and many adventures. Check out what "retirement" means to these free spirits who never stop.
We have horses, chickens, pigeons, turkey, pet pigs, children, a pool, pond and lots of fun. We have returned to our true love showing and breeding. Over the years we have raised over 120 champions, shown some of the top dogs in the country and have made alot of people's lives happy by adding an important member to the family. We look forward to many many more years.
